Job Details


Accounting & Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all corporate and investor entities
  • Record monthly adjusting and accrual entries
  • Reconcile all I/C accounts
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance reports
  • Prepare all recurring journal entries for corporate and consolidation entries
  • Prepare all consolidation and elimination entries
  • Manage the corporate credit card program payment and reconciliation
  • Assist the Manager and Controller on the annual audit
  • Assist the Manager and Controller with Agreed Upon Procedures schedule and prepare back-up
  • Assist in the annual audit and tax return preparation
  • Assist in annual budget preparation
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly investor reporting and distributions
  • Prepare quarterly Grainger Report
  • Work cohesively with the accounting team and assist on any ad hoc projects, as requested

Accounts Payable:

  • Review and code all corporate invoices in Payscan ensuring all invoices are paid in accordance with terms
  • Export expense reports from Expensify weekly and ensure employees are reimbursed timely
  • Record electronic payments to ensure GL accuracy
  • Process weekly check runs, both manual and Integrated
  • Record board member fees and ensure board members are paid timely
  • Ensure Committee Chairs & Members are paid timely
  • Process board travel reimbursements
  • Consistently look for ways to improve process and enhance efficiency

Cash Management:

  • Post daily cash activity to ensure DCR accuracy
  • Monitor cash balances
  • Prepare necessary documentation for bank account set up in addition to all administrative banking documentation requirements
  • Monitor Positive Pay

Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • A minimum of three (3) years prior corporate accounting experience, including accounts payable
  • Yardi GL experience, a plus
