The Corporate Accounting & Consolidations Manager (“Manager”) is primarily responsible for the preparation of the Company’s consolidated financial statements focusing on the elimination of intercompany, investments/equity and the administration of the accounting close process as it relates to these items. The Manager works closely with the Company’s regional business units distributing the Company’s official FX rates and coordinating the consolidation process. With primary responsibility for several holding companies and corporate departments the Manager does the day to day accounting for these parts of the business and also works closely with Corporate tax to recognize the Company’s tax entries as intended.
To support reporting, the Manager is responsible for various internal and external reporting including the companies consolidated CAPEX reporting and selected external reporting schedules.
Together with the Corporate Controller, and the Financial Reporting Manager, the Corporate Accounting & Consolidations Manager will lead the Company’s global accounting function, establishing/maintaining necessary policies and addressing technical accounting matters. The Manager may also write policies and analyze and document the appropriate accounting treatment for complex financial transactions.
Suitable candidates will have corporate accounting and consolidations experience and some financial reporting or audit experience. This role requires critical thinking, strong time and project management skills, the ability to translate accounting into layman’s terms, and the ability to work cross functionally.

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and review the consolidation, ensuring completeness and accuracy according to GAAP and Company requirements.
- Identify and implement efficiencies within the consolidation and reporting process.
- Accounting for certain Corporate holding companies and departments.
- Act on behalf of Corporate Accounting as a subject matter expert, partnering with the business and others in the Accounting/Finance organization to identify, research, resolve and document complex, technical accounting issues and transactions.
- Coordinate and effectively communicate accounting issues with various Business Units throughout Wilsonart.
- Assist with preparing the quarterly and annual financial reports and committee presentations.
- Consolidated CAPEX reporting.
- Perform key controls related to the consolidations and financial reporting processes.
- Assist and support in internal and external audits of the Company.
Qualifications:
- “Big 4” experience and CPA
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting or related field a plus.
- 3+ years of directly applicable corporate accounting experience.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Strong cross-functional abilities with multi-faceted analysis and ad-hoc analysis skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
Systems Qualifications
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with HFM, commensurate with a financial reporting role.
- Familiarity with Workiva Wdesk or other financial statement preparation tools.
- Oracle G/L or other G/L experience a plus.
