Job Details
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of various legal documents, including lease options, leases, easements, Estoppels, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), purchase orders (POs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and utility agreements (Interconnection agreements, PPAs), ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Compile and prepare lease options, leases, contract amendments, and other legal documentation as required.
- Manage the public recording of real estate documents such as lease options, leases, and easements with the relevant county.
- Obtain and assist in the review and analysis of legal descriptions in title reports obtained from tax assessors' offices, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
- Gather and organize easement documentation, ensuring all necessary legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Provide support in reviewing and interpreting zoning ordinances and regulations, ensuring project compliance with local laws.
- Review and assist in the execution of documents related to construction finance closing, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
- Provide legal support during external meetings with vendors, utility companies, and government agencies, assisting with documentation and legal queries.
- Record and file all contracts in the appropriate systems and track corporate compliance with key terms and dates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of real estate contracts, supplier contracts, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts, and project finance contracts.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in real estate, construction, or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of contract law, real estate law, and zoning regulations.
