Position Summary: A boutique North Dallas law firm is seeking a skilled Corporate Transaction Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in corporate work, Mergers & Acquisitions, commercial lending, and real estate closings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys and clients in all phases of corporate and real estate transactions, including M&A, loan transactions, private equity, and commercial real estate.
Draft and prepare transaction documents, corporate agreements, loan documents, and state filings.
Manage transactional closings, including drafting checklists, assembling schedules, and organizing tasks.
Conduct due diligence, lien searches, UCC filings, and order certified documents.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and staff, and support other firm needs, including maintaining electronic client files.
Position Profile:
Strong self-management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and work with minimal supervision.
High integrity and confidentiality in communication and document handling.
Excellent critical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Effective communication with clients and attorneys, responsive to deadlines.
Requirements:
Paralegal certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in legal drafting and corporate transactions.
Extensive experience with complex M&A and commercial loan transactions.
Competencies for Success:
Concern for order and quality, detailed-oriented, and strong oral and written communication skills.
