We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal defense law, be fluent in Spanish, and be a member of the Florida State Bar. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including misdemeanors and felonies
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Negotiate plea bargains and settlements with prosecutors
• Attend court hearings and trials to advocate for clients
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, judges, and other legal professionals
• Stay up-to-date with changes in criminal law and legal precedents
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff to provide the best possible legal representation to clients

Qualifications:

• Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• 1+ years of experience as a criminal defense attorney
• Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal highly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and legal professionals
