What You Will Be Doing
Operating general radiologic and CT scan imaging equipment for pediatric inpatients and outpatients
Ensuring accurate and precise treatment delivery and data capture
Reviewing set-up instructions, radiation prescriptions, consents, and treatment plans
Explaining the treatment process to patients and their families
Monitoring patients visually during treatment
Maintaining appropriate treatment and simulation records and data
Performing required quality assurance procedures and documenting accordingly
Skills You Need
Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT)
Licensed by the State of Connecticut as a radiologic technologist
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR
Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiologic Technology program
