Day Time Crisis Worker, Manitowoc

The Human Services Department is to promote a healthy community by providing services that strengthen and empower individuals and families. The Department provides an extensive array of social services, financial benefits and rehabilitation to statutorily designated groups of the county's residents. The agency serves approximately 5,000 clients per year. The Department is organized into four divisions: Business Operations, Children & Families, Clinical Services, and Economic Support.

We have an immediate and valuable position with the department. The Day Time Crisis Worker will work during normal Human Services Department business hours and provide services including information and referral, consultation, intervention, and voluntary and involuntary placements. The primary responsibilities are as follows:

• Generate and maintain clinical records and reports
• Provide consultation, and other supportive assistance to other providers and agencies within the emergency services system
• Provide information and access to other services

The primary requirements for the position is as follows:
* Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or equivalent
* Certification by the State of Wisconsin as a Social Worker
* Certification must be obtained within six months from the date of hire
* Wisconsin Driver's license is required
