Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Design Drafter to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating, updating, and maintaining CAD models and dimensional drawings, as well as managing engineering file systems. The role demands a deep understanding of ECN creation and processing, Engineering-related Axapta activities, and Engineering CAD systems. The Design Drafter will also be responsible for preparing 2D and 3D product visualizations and designing, facilitating prototyping, and testing low-complexity products. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain CAD models and dimensional drawings.
• Maintain engineering file systems, including network shares, Sharepoint business records, ProFile PDM, etc.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ECN creation and processing.
• Serve as an SME for Engineering-related Axapta activities.
• Function as an SME for Engineering CAD systems, including training team members.
• Prepare 2D and 3D product visualizations in various formats such as PDF, PowerPoint, etc.
• Design, facilitate prototyping, and perform testing on low-complexity products.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure design specifications are met.
• Continually enhance technical knowledge and stay updated with industry trends.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in creating, updating, and maintaining CAD models and dimensional drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of engineering file systems such as network shares, Sharepoint business records, ProFile PDM, etc.
• Expertise in ECN creation and processing.
• Proficiency in Engineering-related Axapta activities.
• Experience with Engineering CAD systems, including the ability to train team members.
• Ability to prepare 2D and 3D product visualizations in various formats.
• Experience in designing, facilitating prototyping, and testing low-complexity products.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• A degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field is preferred.
