Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Dialysis Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Administer hemodialysis treatment to patients in a safe and effective manner
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on the dialysis process and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient care and treatment progress accurately and timely
- Maintain a clean and organized dialysis unit
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis techniques and technologies
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year Registered Nurse experience, plus 3 months experience in hemodialysis
- Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
