About the Role:

We are looking for a digital marketing expert to lead all of our digital channels (except email) in targeting, educating and converting customers in our research and patient communities. We have robust campaigns in our digital channels that include SEO/SEM, banners, video, email, webinars, chat and social media that create brand awareness and our unique capabilities, and drive qualified in-bound leads for our SDR and patient recruitment teams.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in all the channels you will manage. The successful candidate will be familiar with building a pipeline for sales and used to having an MQL/SQL quota. Using a variety of online platforms and applications will be comfortable and you are adept at identifying trends and solving problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

SEM/SEO

  • Manage SEM campaigns and bid strategies and other day-to-day activities including determining and prioritizing keyword building, ad copy, landing page and bid optimization, monitoring spend and performance levels relative to budgets and expected KPI's including MQLs and SQLs.
  • Partner with agencies to develop landing page UI journeys including keywords, copy, contact forms, content downloads, etc. that will engage and educate users inspiring them to take action including the completion of form fills and downloads.
  • Leverage website analytic packages including Google Analytics and Tableau to make improvements and informed decisions about performance.
  • Partner with the agencies to develop and build out SEO efforts for the website that support both sides of our business; patient marketing and commercial.

Social Media

  • Launch video and still image ads that educate and convert traffic from our list of strategic and target accounts and patient segments.
  • Continually optimize creative and test new ad units introduced by LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Build and maintain our social media presence by posting content developed by the marketing department.
  • Identify trends and new channels for customer acquisition.

Website

  • Serve as the point of contact for the marketing department for any needed website updates or site restructuring and partner with our web developer or outside agencies.
  • Partner with internal resources to track and quantify website traffic to help determine areas of the website that need improvement or updating.
  • Recommend, evaluate and launch supporting technologies that lead to improvements in performance.
  • Management of our signature banner partner and continually update content and promotions we highlight in that channel.
  • Oversight of banner retargeting partners and continually updating banners with fresh and compelling content.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in marketing or related field.
  • 8-10 years in Product Marketing Roles
  • 5+ years in Digital Marketing
  • Proven, hands on experience in digital marketing including all of the channels listed above
  • Google AdWords certified
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with analytics packages such as Google Analytics, WebTrends, SEMRush, landing page technology, ad serving technology and A/B multivariate testing.
  • Expert in communications, marketing, public relations or similar relevant field preferably in a B2B high-growth company.
  • Ensures that all necessary information is passed on to stakeholders and teammates.
  • Proven ability to create and execute campaigns that raise brand awareness, increase share of voice and extend influence

Preferred:

Life sciences background or degree a plus

Technologies:

HTML and CSS coding experience preferred
