Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Director of Finance. This is a unique opportunity to lead the financial strategy and operations of a thriving organization within the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, financial accounting, and business strategy. This position will play a pivotal role in the financial health and strategic direction of our company, providing leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of the executive management team.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
• Manage and oversee the work of the finance department staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and consistent excellence.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and manage the preparation of management reports.
• Direct and coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institute and maintain other planning and control procedures, and analyze and report variances.
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
• Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the finance industry.
• Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, financial accounting, and business strategy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in finance software.
• Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
