We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to join our rapidly growing team. This is a permanent role that offers a unique opportunity to shape and contribute to our exciting mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting & finance - a focus in hospitality, particularly on the hotel sector is preferred but not required. They will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, developing effective financial strategies, guiding efforts towards financial success, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. This is a high-impact role that requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and deep financial expertise.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including the development and management of budgets, reporting, forecasting, and auditing.
2. Develop and implement effective financial strategies, controls, systems, and procedures that align with the company's goals.
3. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
4. Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
5. Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
6. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic business plans, including financial analysis and forecasting.
7. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
8. Evaluate and manage risk, perform profitability analyses, and ensure efficient use of resources.
9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master's degree or CPA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP, finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
4. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
5. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to a non-financial audience.
7. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
8. High level of professional and personal integrity, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
9. Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships.
