Our client is looking for a Director of R&D Tax Credits that will manage client portfolios and move each client through the process, while ensuring client service is maintained at each step. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to articulate and teach direct reports how to manage clients on the technical aspects of the various specialized tax credits. The candidate will have experience leading a team. This candidate will be asked to lead a future team of employees as this department grows.


Job Responsibilities:

• Experience with Research and Development (R&D) tax credits.

• Ability to train and educate direct reports on the R&D tax credits or create training materials.

• Working on R&D projects from start to completion.

• Assist in managing and implementing multiple R&D projects.

• Generate and manage ongoing client relationships.

• Assists team as needed with gathering and analyzing client information which prepares the company to deliver services efficiently and accurately.

• Communicate and create relationships with direct reports.

• Dedication to producing quality work.

Experience:

• 5 plus years of professional R&D tax credit consulting experience is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
