Job Details

Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Minimum 5–7 years of senior-level sales experience in the transportation/logistics industry
  • Demonstrated success in selling dedicated contract carriage, FTL, and intermodal services
  • Strong existing relationships with enterprise-level shippers
  • Proven ability to lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through close
  • High comfort with travel (75%+) and autonomous remote work
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Deep understanding of carrier-side pricing, freight strategy, and logistics operations

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify, target, and close new dedicated contract carriage accounts (3–5 year terms)
  • Execute complex, full-cycle B2B logistics sales across Truckload, Intermodal, and Dedicated verticals
  • Develop and own strategic sales pipeline for enterprise shippers
  • Lead high-level RFQ strategy and pricing proposals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure successful onboarding
  • Represent company in face-to-face enterprise sales engagements
  • Negotiate and finalize long-term partnerships with C-level decision makers
  • Achieve growth targets in volume, profitability, and asset utilization
  • Serve as a trusted consultative partner to major transportation clients
