Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the market to guide the company's launch and market-entry strategies.
- Identify and tap into new business avenues for a particular product niche, leveraging both product knowledge and sales prowess.
- Spearhead sales campaigns aimed at specific markets and clients, using pre-existing industry relationships. Collaborate with clients externally and
- Craft tailored proposals in alignment with client needs, ensuring offerings are technically sound and commercially viable.
- Engage with clients to offer timely project updates and deliverables, confirming that project milestones and client expectations are synchronized.
- Expand business with current and potential clients by showcasing the company’s unique value proposition and responding to exclusive inquiries or RFPs.
- Transform unclear technical data into insightful, risk-minimized findings, and contribute to the creation and review of due diligence reports.
- Strengthen and maintain customer relationships, comprehend their evolving needs, relay this feedback, and collaborate with product development and marketing teams to present product advancements to potential and existing clientele, furthering sales prospects.
- Supervise the sales unit, fostering and enhancing the selling skills of the team.
- Guide the team in reaching their performance benchmarks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related domain.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in sales and business development in the consumer electronics domain, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in the Energy Storage sector.
- Knowledge of energy tech components like batteries, inverters, PV modules, and other related systems.
- Proven track record of interactions with major industry players (e.g., Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla).
- A pre-established network within pertinent sectors would be a plus.
- A history of involvement in cooperative project teams and a knack for client engagement.
- Proven experience in overseeing projects and managing teams.
- Demonstrated client-centric, advisory approach to projects.
- Commitment to meeting set timelines, even when project specifics or client requirements shift.
- Openness and capability to travel for work, approximately 10-15% of the time.
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills.
