Ecommerce Analyst

Job Summary
As our Ecommerce Marketing Analyst, you will be focused on using data to help shape our ecommerce strategy. You will be responsible for improving website experiences/customer journeys by developing data driven, scalable recommendations and partnering with cross-functional teams and leadership to assist with execution, reporting, and ongoing testing and optimization efforts. You will rigorously analyze performance data, manage KPIs, and continuously work to optimize. The ideal candidate should possess foundational knowledge in analytics, a deep understanding of ecommerce including SEO, and a strong desire to yield impactful performance-oriented results. This is a high impact, high visibility role with ample room to grow and scale quickly.

You will
  • Work with leadership to set the website development roadmap leveraging web analytics and customer data to identify key areas of opportunity and prioritize projects
  • Leverage data to make impactful UX recommendations to optimize the website / enhance customer journey with a focus on increasing CVR, AOV, and CLV
  • Partner with leadership and agencies to design and execute hypothesis-driven experimentation, analyze results, identify top opportunities, and assist with implementation efforts
  • Take ownership of the numbers across website performance - be the first line of defense in identifying and reading shifts in performance trends and work with leadership to develop impactful strategies and solutions
  • Partner with leadership to develop consistent processes, dashboards, and performance trackers to improve reporting/data integrity, drive accountability, and maximize overall business success
  • Guide updates to custom category/PLP pages to ensure customer needs are being met and changes in consumer behavior are being accounted for.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to develop and execute onsite personalization strategies based on data backed recommendations.
  • Proactively identify and suggest solutions to resolve user experience problems and friction points • Continuously research the ecommerce landscape and online competitors, identifying category trends and growth opportunities
  • Partner with outside agency to deliver SEO and performance optimized site

You are
  • Up to date on the latest trends in digital experience and enjoy bringing digital experiences to life
  • Analytical and data/metric-obsessed, always seeking data to validate the approach and optimize results further
  • Curious at heart: you ask the right questions, hypothesize, and test to find the best solution
  • Someone with a strong bias to action – willing to tackle problems both big and small
  • A collaborator who values and builds upon perspectives other than your own
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize while not letting anything drop

You have
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a quantitative role with an understanding of tracking and analyzing ecommerce data and trends, creating reports, and providing scalable strategic website recommendations based on such.
  • Experience with website management, site merchandising, digital marketing and customer experience enhancement.
  • Experience building out dashboards to track business trends and KPI performance using tools like Google Analytics, Excel etc.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield
