We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the safety programs within our organization. This role requires a professional with a strong commitment to safety and the ability to develop and implement policies that will create a healthier and safer work environment. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
2. Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
3. Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
4. Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
5. Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
6. Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
7. Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
8. Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures.
9. Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
10. Oversee hazardous waste management, including waste segregation, storage, disposal, and transportation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in safety management, engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a safety manager or similar for at least five years.
3. Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
4. Proficiency in risk assessment and environmental auditing.
5. Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
6. Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
7. Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
8. Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
9. Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
10. Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
12. Valid qualification in occupational health and safety, such as NEBOSH certificate or diploma.
