The PV Electrical Development Engineer is a key member of the Engineering team, specializing in providing accurate and comprehensive designs to facilitate cost estimates for photovoltaic (PV) electrical projects. This role combines technical expertise in electrical engineering with strong analytical skills to develop precise designs for cost projections. The PV Electrical Development Engineer collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful estimation and execution of solar generation projects.

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

2. Utilizing CAD software to create detailed electrical schematics and design plans.
3. Developing and implementing innovative solar design projects, utilizing PVCase software.
4. Collaborating with other engineers and departments to ensure the effective integration of electrical systems.
5. Conducting research to stay updated on the latest engineering trends and technologies, and applying this knowledge to your work.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical systems and equipment.
7. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the status of projects, including any challenges faced and how they were overcome.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a particular focus on electrical design and solar energy. Specific qualifications include:

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Development Engineer or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD software and electrical schematics.
4. Experience with PVCase and solar design.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and departments.
7. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest engineering trends and technologies, particularly in the field of renewable energy.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards.
