Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Electrical Engineer with a focus on Nautical Engineering. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to utilize and develop their skills within the engineering industry. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the design and delivery of top-notch electrical systems for boats, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for boats, including power generation, lighting, switching, and AC/DC systems.
• Prepare and maintain detailed electrical schematics and diagrams using CAD software.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into overall boat design.
• Ensure all electrical designs meet applicable marine regulations and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design, manufacturing, and testing phases.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality electrical components.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
• Continually monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards; research and implement new technologies as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the boating industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing electrical systems.
• Thorough understanding of marine electrical systems, including power generation, lighting, switching, AC/DC, and switch panels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with marine industry regulations and safety standards is a plus.
