Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
2. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
3. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
4. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
5. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
6. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
7. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
8. Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
9. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, a master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as an Electrical Engineer.
3. Proven experience in using electrical and electronic design software and equipment.
4. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
5. Ability to apply the principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
6. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
7. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
8. Excellent communication and team management skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
