We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team in the Medical Device Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within medical devices. This position will offer the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from the initial concept and design phase through to the implementation and testing phase. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems design, circuit analysis, electronics troubleshooting, and PLC programming. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical devices and equipment, including communications systems, power generators, motors and navigation systems, and electrical systems for automobiles and aircraft.
- Evaluate the efficiency of electrical systems, machinery, components and products.
- Design and improve electrical products and systems by developing and testing components.
- Design new ways to use electrical power to develop or improve products.
- Perform detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
- Support manufacturing department with product development and testing.
- Create and maintain documentation for all projects.
- Develop PLC programming for automation systems.
- Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects.
- Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or physics or other relevant degrees.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience with electrical systems design, circuit analysis, electronics troubleshooting, and PLC programming.
- Experience with schematic diagrams and analog circuit analysis and design.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering and electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with Class III Medical Devices is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent project management skills.
