Job Details
The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of electrical systems and LED technology, combined with the skill to design, test, support, and develop diverse lighting solutions. Responsibilities:
Note: Successful candidates should possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in computer skills, including : CAD(AutoCAD/BricsCAD), Lighting simulation software (AGI 3.2/Dialux or similar), other tools, is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative LED lighting solutions, adhering to our commitment to efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality for indoor, outdoor, architectural, and sports products.
- Collaborate with our team of experts to create customized project solutions that cater to specific lighting needs.
- Oversee the testing and launch of new products.
- Analyze defective product data and liaise with procurement to resolve vendor quality issues.
- Regularly train team members across production, sales, customer service, assembly, and purchasing departments on product basics, new products, and technical issues.
- Manage and oversee all certification processes, including with specialist entities like the Department of Transportation ect.
- Update photometry, BOMs, cutsheets, and websites in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Conduct extensive product testing to ensure reliability, performance, and industry compliance.
- Liaise with our market-tested partnerships to guarantee timely delivery of our lighting products, even under tight deadlines.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology through continuous staff and product development processes.
- Develop project layouts detailing fixture locations, mounting, track and fixture layout, & power supply locations.
- Provide technical support to various teams, addressing any issues that arise with the product or installation.
- Oversee sports installations, supporting and reviewing AGI & CAD drawing layouts to ensure order.
- Conduct on-site or remote aiming/commissioning of projects.
- Engage in research and development activities to explore new technologies, improve existing systems, and solve specific technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate records, including SOPs, project documentation, technical specifications, and reports. Document design changes, test results, and any other relevant information for future reference.
- Work on projects involving sports lighting needs, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and visual comfort.
- Support new projects and renovations, offering customized application services across the USA and Canada.
- Fulfill any other job duties as assigned by management.
