Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
2. Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and instrumentation issues, including PLC and automation systems, to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of operational efficiency.
3. Develop and implement innovative solutions for improving the reliability and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and install new electrical and instrumentation systems as per project requirements.
5. Utilize knowledge of NEC codes to ensure all electrical and instrumentation installations and repairs are in compliance.
6. Document and report all maintenance and repair activities accurately for future reference.
7. Provide technical support and training to other team members to enhance their understanding and handling of electrical and instrumentation systems.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in electrical and instrumentation technology to recommend and implement improvements in our systems.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation roles, preferably in the energy industry.
2. Proven expertise in PLC, automation, electronic systems, hydraulic, and industrial instrumentation.
3. Solid understanding of NEC codes and their application in an industrial setting.
4. Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical and instrumentation issues effectively.
5. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
7. Ability to work in challenging environments and handle high-stress situations calmly.
8. High degree of safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
9. Relevant certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field is preferred.
