Job Details:

We are currently searching for a dedicated and experienced Permanent Electrical Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical equipment. This role will be a key player in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical blueprints, overhead crane systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance on overhead crane systems.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Manage all repairs and installations of complex electrical and mechanical equipment.
6. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
7. Understand and implement preventative maintenance plans for electrical and mechanical equipment.
8. Work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
9. Comply with all safety procedures and requirements, including lockout-tagout procedures.
10. Provide on-call support as required to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
2. A valid electrician license or certification to work with electrical systems.
3. Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
4. Understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
5. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
6. Experience with overhead crane systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; further education in electrical or mechanical fields is a plus.
11. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime if required.
