Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Electrical Technician to join our progressive manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with an innovative team dedicated to delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the electrical systems of our state-of-the-art machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of 380 phase voltage and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and to identify potential issues before they escalate.
2. Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical problems with machinery, equipment, and systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of operations.
3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for electrical systems and equipment.
4. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
5. Install, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic, and line assemblies.
6. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical systems and machinery, and recommend upgrades or improvements.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment or similar role.
2. Proficient knowledge of 380 phase voltage and other electrical systems.
3. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
4. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
7. Good communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Relevant certification or diploma in Electrical Technology or related field is preferred.
