Embedded Software Engineer

We are a leading manufacturer of professional loudspeaker systems for use in the installed audio/visual communications market and live sound market. We are based in Foothill Ranch, California and are currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the engineering team.

We are looking to hire Embedded Software Engineer. The successful hire will have a strong knowledge in a commercial embedded software.

Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criteria:

• 5 or more years of experience with developing commercial embedded software
• Fluent knowledge of C & C++ programming languages
• Experience writing low-level ARM and Embedded Linux instructions for 24/7 stable operation (3+nines uptime)
• Experience writing drivers for SPI or I2C communications with peripheral IC’s

Nice to haves:

• FreeRTOS
• Wireshark or other network traffic analysis tools
• Layer 2 and 3 networking communication at low-level
• Audio system components and DSPs
• Subversion or Git
• Audio, Hard Drive, Medical Device, Aerospace Industry background
