Responsibilities:

As an Employment Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Representing clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including retaliation claims, wrongful termination, discrimination claims, and harassment claims.
2. Drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating settlements.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop legal strategies and solutions.
4. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, potential risks, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
5. Participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials as necessary.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the highest level of client service.
7. Keeping up-to-date with changes in employment law and informing clients of these changes.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Employment Litigation Attorney position will have the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in employment litigation, with a focus on retaliation claims, wrongful termination, discrimination claims, and harassment claims.
4. Proven experience handling all phases of litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating settlements.
5. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
6. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
