Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant providing services to patients in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to patients with endocrine disorders, with a particular focus on diabetes management.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including insulin, and monitor patients’ responses to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management strategies, including lifestyle modifications and medication usage.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in endocrinology to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
• Participate in regular professional development activities and maintain active membership in relevant professional organizations.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Experience treating diabetes patients is required
