Essential Job Functions:
o Engineering BOMs
o Create and maintain engineering BOMs
o RFQ engineering BOMs
o Evaluate quotes and interface with engineers and buyers
o P&IDs
o Ensure all line numbers, CSAs, tagging, and scope/spec breaks
are correct and consistent
o Incorporate design information into equipment title blocks
o Participate in walkdowns and confirm equipment aligns with
P&IDs prior to shipment
o Engineering Documents
o Create PSV and CV datasheets, populate all non-calculation
data, Generate PDFs
o Create C&E, populate the document excluding the actions and
setpoints
o Create utility spreadsheets, line list, paint list, shipping list,
spare parts list, etc.
o Make certain Document Control receives correct design documents,
IOMs, and vendor data books; Review Job Book before shipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Exhibits professionalism by establishing effective relationships with
other employees
o Manages individual time by building due dates into assignments and
then prioritizes work to accomplish more in less time
o Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately,
handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activities
o Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
o Position is largely sedentary
o Repetitious hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email and
cellphone
o Extensive visual and auditory observation during work
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
o Submit to background check
General requirements:
- Proficient in reading and developing P&IDs
- 1+ year of relevant Engineering Tech experience in the natural gas industry
