Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Estimator - Electrical for our rapidly growing Construction team. This role is integral to our business operations, as you will be responsible for estimating the costs of large-scale electrical projects in the commercial construction sector. This role will offer you the opportunity to showcase your expertise in electrical systems, enhance your skills in project management, and work with a diverse team of professionals. Responsibilities:
1. Preparing, reviewing, and updating electrical estimates for construction projects.
2. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
3. Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
4. Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
5. Tracking changes in scope, additions, and amendments to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
6. Working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure project adherence to the budget.
7. Conducting regular risk assessments and presenting detailed risk reports to the management.
8. Using specialized software to create a database of cost standards.
9. Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial construction industry.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
3. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
4. In-depth knowledge of electrical construction processes, materials, and costs.
5. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and electrical plans.
8. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a team player mindset.
