We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on a variety of large-scale, luxury home projects. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the construction industry, has a keen eye for detail, and is adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be a key player in our project management team, responsible for providing accurate cost estimates that contribute to the profitability and growth of our business.

Responsibilities:

The Permanent Estimator will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including but not limited to:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for luxury home construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and services.
2. Analyzing architectural plans and technical specifications to prepare comprehensive project estimates.
3. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide accurate cost projections.
4. Evaluating and adjusting estimates based on project updates, market trends, and cost fluctuations.
5. Presenting estimates and project bids to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
6. Managing and maintaining a large project pipeline, ensuring all estimates are completed accurately and on time.
7. Participating in project planning and scheduling, assisting in the development of budgets and cost plans.
8. Conducting risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and provide mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Estimator role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry, specifically with luxury custom homes.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
4. Proficiency in estimating software and other industry-related technology.
5. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
8. A strong understanding of market trends, cost analysis, and risk assessment.
9. A team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently when required.
