Estimator (Mid to Senior Level) – NYC
We are seeking an Estimator / Sr. Estimator with strong MEP systems experience. Successful candidates will be able to travel to sites and estimate retrofit and facility upgrade projects based on site conditions, for Commercial and Industrial Projects.

• 4+ years of experience in budgeting and estimating for commercial construction projects.
• Must have experience in scheduling across various markets in construction. The majority of the work is renovations and retrofits, not new construction.
• The position would be to serve both our NY and Denver CO office. Field travel will be involved but either NY or Denver will work.
• Primavera 6 (P-6) scheduling experience * Required *
• Prepare detailed conceptual budgets and estimating from pre-construction, concept design, schematic design and design development documents
• Perform detailed take-offs of all trades
• Initiate and manage entire bid process (construction management and general contractor) inclusive of preparation of detailed bid package
• Ensure accurate and proper submissions & proposals by all subcontractors
• Build and maintain vendor relationships
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and subcontractors
• Work collaboratively with field team to communicate deliverables and procurement schedules
• Level subcontractor bid proposals for accuracy and scope gaps
• Prepare scope of work documentation by division
• Attend and lead subcontractor calls and meetings as needed
• Conduct on-site walk-throughs as needed
