We are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a Permanent Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating the cost of construction projects, including multi-family, podium, mixed-use, garden and commercial buildings. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure that project estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options to reduce project costs.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and project timelines.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project estimates, bids, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on multi-family, podium, mixed-use, and commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Experience with estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
