We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to be a part of our innovative team that specializes in creating high-quality plastic products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery, ensuring that production processes run reliably and efficiently. This role requires a technical skillset, including machine operation and plastic materials expertise.
Responsibilities:
As an Extrusion Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Operating and overseeing the extrusion machines to ensure the production of high-quality plastic products.
2. Performing regular checks on the machinery, diagnosing and troubleshooting any technical issues.
3. Adjusting machine settings for temperature, speed, and feed rates, and observing production output.
4. Reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams to ensure products meet specific design requirements.
5. Collaborating with the quality control team to inspect the final product, maintaining strict quality control standards.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
7. Performing regular maintenance on the extrusion machines, including cleaning and oiling parts as necessary.
8. Collaborating with other team members to optimize production efficiency.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Extrusion Operator position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Extrusion Operator in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Profound knowledge of machine operation, and plastic materials.
3. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
4.Must be able to start training on day shift.
