Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join a well-established and highly supportive team handling complex family law matters across Southwest Florida.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage a full caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, modifications, and adoption
* Handle all phases of litigation from initial client consultation through trial or settlement
* Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
* Conduct depositions, mediations, and contested hearings
* Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure high-quality service
* Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients to guide them through difficult legal processes
* Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines in a fully electronic environment
* Utilize Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and county judicial portals efficiently
Qualifications:
* Active and in-good-standing member of the Florida Bar
* 4+ years of family law experience preferred
* 8+ total years of legal practice for Senior level, 10+ for Partner level
* Strong courtroom and litigation background
* Experience in civil litigation is acceptable if familiar with Florida Family Law procedures and evidence
* Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
* Confident managing cases independently while contributing to a team-based culture
* Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a paperless, cloud-based environment
