Job Details:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a deep understanding of family law and a proven track record in managing complex cases. This is a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling family law cases from start to finish, including mediation, court hearings, trials, and the drafting of motions, memoranda, and case pleadings.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal representation to clients during court hearings and trials.
2. Manage family law cases, including divorce, custody, visitation, adoption, and domestic violence.
3. Draft, review, and file legal documents such as motions, memoranda, and case pleadings.
4. Conduct mediation sessions and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
5. Provide legal advice to clients, keeping their best interests in mind.
6. Conduct thorough case research to determine the best course of action.
7. Collaborate with legal team to prepare for trial and coordinate activities.
8. Maintain professional relationships with clients, ensuring they are kept informed of case progress.
9. Stay updated with changes in family law and inform clients of how these changes may affect them.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law.
3. Licensed to practice law in Utah or states with reciprocity.
4. Proven experience in court hearings, trials, and mediation.
5. Exceptional ability in drafting motions, memoranda, and case pleadings.
6. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving client objectives.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision.
9. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
11. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
12. Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
