Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters, including child custody, child support, high net worth divorce, and domestic violence.
- Conduct thorough case analysis to identify issues and provide strategic solutions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiation sessions.
- Collaborate with clients and other professionals to ensure cases are effectively managed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and related areas.
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical codes of conduct.
- Contribute to business development activities, including networking and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law, with a focus on child custody, child support, high net worth divorce, and domestic violence.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with varying levels of complexity.
- Proficient in legal research and document drafting.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
