Job Details


  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and court orders for attorney review and usage.
  • Manage communication with clients, and create detailed spreadsheets and documents for Inventory and Appraisement and Proposed Support Decision.
  • Submit pleadings to court clerks and coordinate the service of subpoenas.
  • Handle initial client intake calls and prepare attorneys for consultations.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
  • Assist in resolving recurring issues in family law cases and support client compliance with discovery requests.
  • Manage discovery processes, track important deadlines, and draft correspondence to opposing counsel and parties.


  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Paralegal certification is beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Texas Family Law.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to adopt new software, technologies, and methodologies as necessary to adapt to the evolving legal landscape.
  • Demonstrates creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic work setting.
