We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, dealing with a wide range of health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family medicine, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving community health. The candidate must have a DOT Certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide primary healthcare services to individuals, families, and communities.
2. Diagnose and treat a broad range of health conditions, from common illnesses to complex health issues.
3. Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, interpret medical history, and order appropriate diagnostic tests.
4. Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies.
5. Provide health education and counseling to promote wellness and prevent disease.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance healthcare services.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in family medicine and integrate them into practice.
10. Adhere to ethical principles and nursing standards of practice.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
2. Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license.
3. DOT Certification is mandatory.
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
5. Excellent clinical skills with the ability to manage a variety of health conditions.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
7. Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
8. Proficient in electronic medical records and healthcare IT systems.
9. Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
