Job Title: Federal Cybersecurity Trainer
Contract Length: 1-yr.
Job Location: 100% REMOTE; Preferred residence within driving distance of Santa Monica, CA, but not required.
Work Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs/week
Pay Rate: $75-$90/hr.
Must have:
  • 2+ yrs of experience acting a Trainer on Cybersecurity, Data Protection & Security, and Information Security, in a Government or Federal Contractor environment

Nice-to-Have:
  • College degree in Information Technology, or similar
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+)

Job Details

The Federal Cybersecurity Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, cybersecurity training and communications for the organization. Additionally, they will work closely with Information Security, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to ensure that all employees understand cybersecurity risks, data handling, data protection, and are equipped to address them effectively. This role involves assessing training needs, designing curricula, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the programs. Finally, they will collaborate with security teams to integrate security protocols and incident response procedures into training programs.

Must have:
  • 2+ yrs of experience acting a Trainer on Cybersecurity, Data Protection & Security, and Information Security, in a Government or Federal Contractor environment
