Initial team buildout! Can hire up to 6 people!

***Southwest, Pacific Northwest, Upper Midwest, Lower Midwest, Southeast, New England & Mid-Atlantic***

  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of instrumentation, products, and techniques.
  • Coordinate pre-site inspections, delivery, and installation dates in conjunction with Sales Team and customers.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to user's technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software, and instruments
  • Assist customer with validation studies as needed including: defining protocol, sample acquisition, running samples, data evaluation and report preparation
  • Supporting commercial team and customers in their technical applications and providing product training
  • Be professional, and understanding by listening to customers and providing technical knowledge in all customer interactions
  • Work independently on significant and unique issues requiring collaboration with key decision-makers and senior managers across the organization which may impact future products, concepts, and technologies
  • Assisting sales and marketing on sales activities requiring both technical depth and market knowledge
  • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes

  • MS or Ph.D. – ideally 2+ years experience as a field service representative,
  • Experience with instrument and sequencing run set up preferred
  • Well-organized, able to function independently, with a minimum of supervision
  • Comfortable in presenting training and information seminars to customers
  • Customer-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Highly collaborative; able to work well within multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiar with sample and library prep workflows
  • Strong relationship-building and Interpersonal skills
  • Comfort navigating technical project discussions
  • Comfortable working independently and within team environment
  • Demonstrated account management skills
