Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of medical equipment at customer sites, ensuring functionality according to manufacturer's specifications.
2. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, including diagnosing technical problems, determining proper solutions, and implementing repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Provide on-site training to customers on how to effectively operate and maintain their medical equipment.
4. Document service and installation activities by completing reports and forms, and maintaining customer records.
5. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs; avoiding technical jargon and ensuring a high level of service perception.
6. Stay current with the latest technological advancements in the medical equipment field and participate in training opportunities to maintain technical knowledge.
7. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a cohesive approach to customer services.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a field service engineer or in a similar role, ideally within the medical industry.
2. Proven experience in equipment installation, preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and training.
3. Strong technical understanding of medical equipment and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users.
5. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.
6. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems under pressure.
7. Willingness to travel to customer sites, sometimes with short notice.
8. Degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
