Title: Field Service Machine Engineer
Compensation: $32-$37/hour (depending on experience)

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and service on injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Install injection molding machines and optional project equipment at various job sites.
- Conduct customer training on machine operation and maintenance procedures.
- Handle service calls from a home office, providing remote troubleshooting and support.
- Travel extensively (80% of the time) within the Midwest region, with full reimbursement for mileage and travel expenses.
- Complete specialized training courses provided by experienced service engineers.
- Utilize provided uniforms, laptop, and major tools; hand tools also available if needed.
- Work with electronic controller circuits, replacing and troubleshooting DC voltage circuit boards.
- Manage AC high voltage tasks, including motor starter circuits and heater circuits.
- Configure and upload software on PLCs and operation panels to ensure proper machine controls.
- Assemble, repair, and maintain mechanical aspects of machinery, including hydraulic components and servo controls.
What you need for this position:
- Associate degree in technical science or equivalent experience in injection molding machinery.
- Proficiency in using digital multimeters and hand tools.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in injection molding maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and light rigging experience.
- Ability to work with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical circuits.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work some weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and training.
