Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be a diesel mechanic with experience in CAT and heavy equipment mechanics. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment used in construction sites. You will be required to work in the field and travel to different job sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment used in construction sites
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with equipment
• Repair and replace faulty parts and components
• Follow manufacturer's instructions and guidelines for repairs and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
• Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
• Work in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety protocols and guidelines
• Travel to different job sites as needed
• Work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, CAT mechanic, diesel technician, or heavy equipment mechanic
• Experience working with CAT equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
