Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Field Service Supervisor to join our sales team. This position is a critical role where you will be responsible for managing and supervising our field service engineers. You will be the key liaison between our customers and the technical team, ensuring that our services meet and exceed customer expectations. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership ability, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Supervisor, you will be expected to:
1. Supervise, lead, and direct a team of field service engineers to ensure they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
2. Develop and implement service strategies, operational procedures, and performance standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop tailored service solutions.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to field service engineers on complex issues.
5. Monitor and analyze field service performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Train and mentor field service engineers, enhancing their technical skills and knowledge.
7. Use D365 to manage service schedules, track service performance, and generate reports.
8. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand product specifications and troubleshoot issues.
9. Read and interpret schematics to understand product structures and solve technical problems.
10. Handle customer complaints and issues, ensuring they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Field Service Supervisor role should have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service role, preferably in the sales industry.
2. Proven experience as a field service engineer, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and schematics.
3. Proficiency in using D365 for service management.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
5. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
8. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
