Job Details
The Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring maximum productivity by keeping customer’s equipment in optimum working condition. The Service Engineer will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers and company personnel.
Responsibilities:
Follows up on urgent calls to insure problem has been handled.
Reports daily the status of current assignments.
Troubleshoot equipment problems in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Provide preventative maintenance recommendations.
Extensive travel required many times on short notice.
Maintain Vendor required certifications and training as required.
Performs repairs, retrofits, and preventative maintenance professionally.
Submits accurate expense and service reports in a timely manner.
Performs other related work and special projects
Requirements
Two-year degree and Two years extensive diagnostics experience - debugging, troubleshooting integrated components and systems specifically in the areas of computer controlled electro-mechanical and electronic equipment is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Allen-Bradley PLC Programming experience
