Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in the accounting and finance industry.
3. Solid understanding of GAAP, statutory accounting, and insurance regulations.
4. Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-judged decisions.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
