Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Customer Development Manager for our Southeast territory. This is a REMOTE position in the Ingredients industry, and the candidate must have at least 5+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sales, Account Management, Pricing and Food, Ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the Southeast territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their needs, provide product information, and build rapport
- Manage accounts and provide pricing quotes to clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments, and provide insights to the team
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customers
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Provide training and support to clients on product usage, ingredient functionality, and other related topics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management in the ingredients industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Knowledge of Food, Ingredients, Release Agents, Supplements, Human Nutrition, Bakery, Savory, and Beverage industries
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 50% of the time)
