Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Provide technical guidance to First and Second Processing FSQA Managers to drive consistency between

shifts. Manage, mentor, and develop FSQA team to achieve excellence in all areas.

• Attend and participate in daily meetings with FSQA VP. Discuss current plans, as well as proposed plans,

enhancements, and deficits with FSQA VP and the team as appropriate.

• Collaborate with other departments, team members and directors as necessary to work towards

company objectives.

• Manage, oversee, and contribute to testing, planning, and assisting in deliverables per FSQA VP.
• Oversee the implementation of quality systems to ensure adherence to product specifications, GMP’s

and SOPs requirements.

• Participate in the development of quality, food safety and customer requirements and accuracy of

records and documentation of customer requirements.

• Participate in the development of capital spending plans in consideration of quality assurance and the

development and implementation of continuous improvement programs.

• Perform periodic audits at the facility on recall systems, incoming raw materials, in-process control and

finished goods testing. Monitor vendor and co-pack compliance to Company standards.

• Collaborate and interact with management staff, supervisors, USDA, Sales, Product Development,

suppliers, and customers in directing quality assurance activities while promoting a safe and healthy
work environment through leadership of safety and health program for the facility.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Quality Management, Food Science, or another related field.
• Minimum of five years of food manufacturing
• Minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of Federal and State Food regulations
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality system requirements
