We are searching for a skilled and dedicated Forklift Mechanic to join our team. This role is integral to our manufacturing operations, providing crucial support in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our fleet of forklifts. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical controls, pneumatics, and forklift mechanics, ensuring our equipment's optimal performance and safety. The role demands a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of forklifts, ensuring they are in top operational condition.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Repair or replace faulty components as necessary, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to manufacturing operations.
4. Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts to identify potential issues or hazards and rectify them proactively.
5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed.
6. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand equipment needs and provide technical support.
7. Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Demonstrated expertise in electrical controls, pneumatics, and forklift mechanics.
3. High level of mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
5. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy machinery and work in a manufacturing environment.
8. A valid driver's license and forklift certification may be required.
